Isabel was born on the mainland of Australia in Melbourne. The father of Isabel is Australian while her mother is Swiss. Her family has lived in Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. Along with her sister Nina, she went to schools where First Nations and other children from different backgrounds were accepted. Isabel is currently living at Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel has been actively involved in the field of drama since her high school days. Following her graduation from Queensland University of Technology, she continued her studies in drama at the Victorian College of Arts. Additionally, she recently completed a course in the Perdekamp emotional approach. She never auditioned for part until spotted by her agents in 2002. She was a part-time auditionee on Home and Away 1988. They weren't sure she was suitable for the part but liked her performance and decided to give Tasha an opportunity to play a different role. Her first role on television ran for three years. In the end, she received the Logie Award in the category of emerging talent. Isabel relocated from London to Los Angeles in 2008. Her breakout role was in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 2009. In the time since then she has performed and was rewarded in several US projects in addition to Australian films. Isabel served as the PatronAmbassador for Melbourne's Human Rights and Arts Film Festival (HRAFF) for ten years from 2010 until 2020. Isabel known due to her environmental issues and dedication to social justice and ethical ethics, is now an ambassador for brands and was the spokesperson for a variety of fashion and cosmetics campaigns.
